ULTRASONIC DEVICE FOR COMPLEX MEASUREMENT OF PHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF LIQUID MEDIA Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2174680 C2

FIELD: technical acoustics, investigation of physical and physico-chemical parameters of liquid media in various branches of industry and medicine. SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic device incorporates generator of high-frequency oscillations, unit extracting envelope of beats, piezoconverter, piston-reflector, measuring cylinder with investigated liquid, solenoid placed coaxially to measuring cylinder and connected to output of power supply source and computer. Piezoconverter and piston-reflector are positioned in measuring cylinder. Input of unit extracting envelope of beats is connected to piezoconverter and generator of high-frequency oscillations which output is linked to piezoconverter. Device is fitted with temperature-sensitive element installed inside measuring cylinder, heating/cooling cylinder, thermal insulation cylinder, unit forming signal proportional to temperature of liquid, analog-to-digital converter of signal proportional to temperature of liquid, computer interface, analog-to-digital converter of envelope of beats, digital-to-analog converter which output is connected to input of power supply source, digital-to-analog converter of instructions for control over thermoelectric pile, unit for control over thermoelectric pile. Temperature-sensitive element is connected to input of unit forming signal proportional to temperature of liquid whose output is connected to first input of computer interface linked to common wire of computer via analog-to-digital converter of signal proportional to temperature of liquid. Second input of computer interface is connected to output of analog-to-digital converter of envelope of beats whose input is linked to output of unit extracting envelope of beats. First output of computer interface is connected to input of digital-to-analog converter whose output is linked to input of power supply source and second output is connected to input of digital-to-analog converter of instructions for control over thermoelectric pile whose output is connected to thermoelectric pile anchored on heating/cooling cylinder via unit controlling this pile. Measuring cylinder is placed inside heating/cooling cylinder which is located in thermal insulation cylinder. EFFECT: widened functional capabilities of device. 1 dwg
