FIELD: public services; treatment of sewage cleaning filter media of gravitational filters. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has the following components located above filter reservoir: electric drive with hauling chain, tightener and at least two support carriages designed for reciprocating over guides. These carriages are interconnected by means of signal cantilever; their wheels moving over guides are provided with flanges. Device is also provided with flushing pipe arranged inside filter reservoir; this pipe has holes for escape of water jets under pressure of 4 to 5 atm. This pipe is connected with cantilever by means of at least two metal rods, thus forming rigid three-dimensional structure. Holes in flushing pipe are located at pitch of 250 to 350 mm; at least each third hole is communicated with inlet of spraying unit secured rotatably on flushing pipe and provided with tangential passages located in plane parallel to surface of loading.
