FIELD: combined preparation of ammonia and methanol. SUBSTANCE: method comprises sulfur purification, two-stage conversion of methane, high-temperature conversion of carbon oxide, purification of gas from carbon dioxide by absorption with hot potash solution, synthesis of methanol at pressure of 5 MPa and synthesis of ammonia at pressure of 30 MPa, purification of gas from carbon dioxide being carried out directly on completion of high-temperature conversion of carbon oxide to residual content of carbon dioxide of 0.48-0.5 vol % followed by synthesis of methanol according to continuous flow circuit using low-temperature copper containing catalyst at pressure of 5 MPa at 200-300 and at H2:CO 22.5:1 ratio; after separation of methanol, gas is compressed and directed for synthesis of ammonia using circulation circuit. Said method makes it possible reduce total content of inert impurities (argon+methanol) in fresh synthesis gas from 1.5 vol % to 0.75 vol % thus causing fewer blowing off operations. Carbon oxides which contaminate ammonia synthesis catalyst are present as traces. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 1 dwg
