FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is method of carrier-containing granular polytetrafluoroethylene powder by granulation of mixture of polytetrafluoroethylene which is prepared by suspension polymerization, and filler in water by stirring. Polytetrafluoroethylene powder and filler are separately poured into water without premixing, mixed by stirring in the presence of surfactant to prepare suspension and then granulated by stirring in the presence of organic liquid which forms liquid-liquid water interface. Granular powder has average particle size of not greater than 500 mcm, and bulk density of at least 600 kg/cubic m. Also described is preparation method. Filler-containing granular polytetrafluoroethylene powder has large bulk density, small average particle size, narrow particle size distribution and superior powder flow. Molded product has superior ultimate rapture strength, elongation and surface roughness. Method is simple and suitable for use.
