Abstract RU 2125968 C1

FIELD: fluorocarbon materials. SUBSTANCE: number-average size of particles ranges from 0.01 to 50 mcm. At least 50% of particles have size below number-average size ± 20%. True density is 1.7 to 2.5. F/C ratio on the whole ranges from 0.001 to 0.5 and on the surface from 0.1 to 2.0. Sphericity rate is 0.6 to 1.0. Fluorocarbon particles are prepared by heating carbon particles with indicated parameters to 350-600 C in fluorine gas flow. Inadhesiveness agents, solid lubricants, water- and oil-repellent agents, electroconductance agents, and toner additives include these fluorocarbon particles. Composites are composed of matrix (resins, rubbers, metals, ceramics, mesocarbon microparticles, coke needles, carbon black, pitch, tar oil, lubricant oils, organic solvents, water, and nonaqueous solutions) and fluorocarbon particles dispersed in this matrix. Fine composite particles consist of nuclei of above-indicated solid materials coated by fluorocarbon particles. Retention rolls are manufactured by electrodeposition of fine composite particles followed by heat treatment. Gas-diffusion electrodes contain surface layer of fluorocarbon particles or composite materials. Fuel elements and air batteries include these gas-diffusion electrodes. Anodes of alkaline accumulator batteries are made with use of fluorocarbon particles or composite materials. EFFECT: reduced amount of expensive consumable fluorine gas in fluorocarbon particles. 18 cl, 1 dwg, 12 tbl, 40 ex
