SUBSTANCE: method for producing the polytetrafluoroethylene moulding powder comprises the stage of suspension polymerizing of a monomer comprising at least 99.8% by weight of tetrafluoroethylene in an aqueous medium to obtain granular polymer particles, and the stage of grinding the granulated polymer particles. The aqueous medium contains from 0.5 to 2000 parts / million of the compound represented by the formula RF(OCF(X1)CF2)k-1OCF(X2)COO-M+, where RF represents a perfluorinated C1-10 monovalent organic group, X1 and X2 represent fluorine atoms or a trifluoromethyl group, and M+ represents an ammonium ion, a hydrogen ion, an alkyl-substituted ammonium ion, or an alkali metal ion. The method for producing an agglomerated product comprises the stage of agglomerating said polytetrafluoroethylene moulding powder.
EFFECT: polytetrafluoroethylene moulding powder obtained has a high bulk density and is prepared from granular polymer particles without using an emulsifier showing the problems with biological accumulation and toxicity.
