METHOD OF FIXING OF ANCHOR AND DESIGN OF ANCHOR Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: extractive industry, fixing of outline of mining workings by anchors. SUBSTANCE: method of fixing of anchor includes preparation and insertion of cartridge with loose mineral filling agent and load-carrying rod into hole, movement of cartridge into face of hole as far as it goes, spreading of loose material in clearance between walls of hole and load-carrying rod by way of its rotation and feeding to face, preliminary tension of anchor. First cartridges with composite hardening material are inserted after cartridges with loose mineral filling agent, then they are sent into face of hole as far as cartridges with loose mineral filling agent go, composite material is mixed with structural members of anchor with its simultaneous advance to face. Anchor includes load-carrying rod, screw on head end, retaining plug of loose mineral filling agent, propping member, supporting members and nut on tail part. Load-carrying rod of anchor has periodic profile between head and tail part covered by hardening composite material. EFFECT: raised quality of supporting of rock mass. 2 cl, 5 dwg
