FIELD: mining industry, particularly, bolting of mine working contours. SUBSTANCE: cable anchor consists of many wires of cable strands, cable boxes for connection of wire ends of cable strands, limiters of radial displacement of wires of cable strands. Cable box is threaded with rod of anchor tail having supporting members and supporting nut. Cable box has conical surface engageable with external wires of cable strands between which wedge is installed. Cable strands located in boreholes made in geological structure are separated by inserts in intervals between limiters of radial displacement of cable strand wires for relative motion and bending of cable strands. Separated cable strands may be embraced from outside by conical sleeve separated into pairs along axis. Conical sleeve is provided with flexible feathers. Wedge may be made in the form of discrete sleeve embracing central wire of cable and have external conical surface and thread on surfaces of contact with cable wires. Wedge may have hollows mating profile of cable strands embraced by it. EFFECT: improved bolting due to provision of high prestressing. 4 cl, 8 dwg
