HEAT DRIVE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2175070 C2

FIELD: drives of electric generators, pumps and other machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive has heater with cooler arranged above, heater and cooler being connected by branch pipe. Lower end of branch pipe is arranged in heater pit, and upper one, in cooler at level of working liquid surface. Upper part of heater is connected by pipeline with air-and-hydraulic motor in which kinetic energy of working liquid vapors is converted into rotation of air-and-hydraulic motor shaft. Heater and air-and-hydraulic motor are filled with liquids nonsoluble in each other having equal working temperatures but different densities. Number of steps of air-and-hydraulic motor and level of liquid in steps are chosen to provide summary hydrostatic pressure of liquid column less than difference of pressure in heater and cooler. Cooler is made in form of vertically arranged vessel filled with the same liquid as heater, but temperature of liquid in cooler is lower than that in heater. EFFECT: simplified design. 1 dwg
