FIELD: medicine, particularly, traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preparation of suspension of gypsum binder CaSO4 . 0.5 H2O, its application to gauze cloth, further heat treatment, cutting and packing of ready for use bandages. Liquid component is used in the form of water heated to temperature of 90-100 C and temperature of gypsum suspension is maintained of no less than 80 C. Further heat treatment is effected at temperature of 100-300 C up to complete drying-out of gauze and gypsum suspension layer applied to gauze. EFFECT: reduced cost of product and higher noncollapsibility of bandage. 1 ex
