FIELD: shipbuilding; submarine ships breaking ice cover by resonance flexural gravitational waves. SUBSTANCE: after excitation of resonance flexural gravitational waves, ship's speed is reduced. At the moment when first (behind ship's stern) through of flexural gravitational wave reaches zone of rarefaction, ship's speed is increased to resonance level and her further motion is effected at said speed. Rarefaction zone is created due to turning planes to vertical position. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of ice breaking. 2 cl, 1 dwg
