FIELD: navigation in ice. SUBSTANCE: submarine vessel 2 excites flexural gravitational waves 3 in ice 1 during motion of vessel 2 at resonance speed. Body 4 which has poorly streamlined shape (parachute for example) is placed on board vessel. After excitation of resonance waves 3, body 4 is placed by means of lines 6 at area of oscillation loop 7 behind wave crest. Position of oscillation loop 7 is determined by means of shipboard echo sounders 8. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
