DEVICE FOR DELIVERY OF INSTRUMENTS INTO HORIZONTAL WELL Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: drilling of horizontal and very inclined oil and gas wells, particularly, devices for delivery of instruments into wells. SUBSTANCE: device has cylindrical body, hinged wedging supports, guide rods and propeller. The latter is made in the form of four sleeves connected in pairs by wedging supports. Movable sleeve in each pair has sliding nut and installed for motion. The other sleeve is fixed to respective guide rods installed on corresponding bodies. Installed in each body is electric motor with reducing gear and lead screw with lead excluding their self-braking. Each movable sleeve has spring-loaded lock. Guide rods have fixing recesses. Movable sleeve lock is engageable with recesses of rod to which sleeve is fixed which is connected in pair with movable sleeve. EFFECT: higher operating reliability and extended types of investigated horizontal wells. 2 cl, 1 dwg
