FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrically driven packer setting tool. Tool comprises a body in the upper part made with possibility of connection with a holding device. In the lower part of the housing along its external surface there are slots for connection with the upper part of the packer. Inside the housing there is a control electronics unit, a power supply unit, an electric motor unit connected by a shaft to the reduction gear unit. Also, pressure and temperature sensors are installed in the housing. Rod extending beyond the housing in the lower part is attached to the reduction gear unit. Rod has splined projections with the possibility of connection with the lower part of the packer and its rotation for installation of the packer into the working position. Splined projections are made with possibility of installation in grooves or seats made along inner surface of packer body. Power supply unit is made in the form of a unit of batteries or accumulators.

EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency of the setting tool.
