FIELD: mechanical engineering; exhaust systems of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: device is furnished additionally with tank filled with neutralizing solution and nitric oxides neutralization cylinder is placed in exhaust channel in series with exhaust valve. Walls of cylinder are made porous. Nitric oxides neutralization cylinder houses conical exhaust gas divider. Cylinder is connected with pipeline of tank containing neutralizing solution through hole made in cylinder head. Upper part of tank communicates with exhaust channel through branch pipe. Layer of catalyst is applied to surface of exhaust valve, outer surfaces of conical nozzle and conical shell. EFFECT: improved efficiency of cleaning of exhaust gases from incomplete combustion products owing to catalytic neutralization, reduced content of nitric oxides owing to treatment of engine exhaust gases by neutralizing solution. 1 dwg
