FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is used in internal combustion engine for quality cleaning of exhaust gases and acceleration of heating. According to invention, catalyst converter has double-walled housing with heat insulation in between, inlet and outlet branch pipes, partitions, high-temperature and low-temperature porous filters installed in housing one after the other, thus dividing the housing into three parts. Tube installed in central part of housing is connected with inlet branch pipe and is provided with ports communicating with spaces by catalytic filters. Turnable tube ports coinciding in shape and location with ports of outer tube is installed inside the latter. Catalyst is connected with intake manifold forming exhaust gas circulation circuit including receiver, bypass valve and bypass branch pipes. Shutoff valve is installed on outlet branch pipe of catalyst converter. Bypass valve and shutoff valve and also tube of converter turning mechanism are provided with drive.
