FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: receiver has input facility incorporating antenna and blocking filter whose output is connected to amplifier. Input signal is separated and mixed up with common mode and with quadrature phase signal generated by heterodyne in respective mixer circuit. Output signal of each mixer circuit is supplied to low-frequency filter and to input of limiting circuit. Output signal of each low-frequency filter is passed to input of respective adder circuit of which first one is designed for adding common mode to quadrature phase signals and second circuit functions to subtract common mode and quadrature phase signals for generating respective output signal whose axes are intermediate to those of common mode and quadrature phase signals. These signals as well as common mode and quadrature phase signals are passed through respective limiting circuit to decoder circuit for data recovery. Output signals of limiting circuits are actually quantized into eight possible phase states spaced 45 deg. apart. When input signal is GFSK modulated (Gauss frequency signal keyed), then vector will always cross at least one axis; therefore direction can be set before data recovery. EFFECT: provision for using phase-modulated signals that need no amplification. 8 cl, 7 dwg
