FIELD: communications. SUBSTANCE: device provides possibility to control output power and to measure relative attenuation links between base node and mobile nodes. This results in possibility to tune mobile nodes to transmission of common known sequence (call signals) at various times. Base nodes provide possibility to measure signal levels from all mobile nodes inside their effective range according to this sequence during transmission period. Base nodes store levels and communication moments. Data are gathered by network which connects base nodes to central node. Said central node compares estimations of peak hours for communication of unknown mobile nodes to those recognized at other base nodes in order to detect mobile node which is related to each correlation peak. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 5 cl, 3 dwg
