FIELD: equipment for gas, chemical, power and food industries applicable in sedimentation of colloid suspensions. SUBSTANCE: device has cylindrical body with branch pipes for discharge of sediment, and internal cylinder. The latter is connected with lower cone. Located under baffle upper cone is cylindrical chamber with baffle lower cone. Circular settling chambers are concentrically arranged round cylindrical body. Device also has aerator and pipeline of initial water which are connected with cylindrical body and with each other. Initial water pipeline is made in the form of horizontal ring with uniformly distributed downcast vertical branch pipes. Installed perpendicular to lower ends of branch pipes are injectors grouped in height of downcast vertical branch pipes. Injectors are made flat-slotted with planes of slots being vertically oriented. EFFECT: improved process of colloid suspension sedimentation. 5 cl, 4 dwg
