FIELD: sorption technique; cleaning liquid and gaseous media from toxic components in various industries. SUBSTANCE: zeolite is preliminary heated, fraction by fraction at temperature rise rate of 80 to 120 C, then, it is evacuated at temperature of 300 to 400 C and residual pressure of 10-2 mm Hg and cooled and treated with modifying gas at pressure of 0.5 to 1.5 atm gauge as pressure of about 10-1 mm Hg has been reached till complete cooling. Then, sorbent is unloaded into hermetic container treated preliminarily with modifying agent and stored in gas medium under pressure of 0.5 to 1.5 atm gauge. EFFECT: increased yield of high-quality sorbent from natural zeolite tuff; facilitated procedure; reduced power requirements. 2 cl, 3 dwg
