FIELD: fan industry, fans of transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: axial fan contains housing, electric engine built into the housing , working wheel made of boss with blades mounted on the engine shaft, protecting register located before the blades. The register is and integral part of the housing and is made of pins projecting from the housing sidewise the fan axis. The free end of the pins are arranged around the circumference of diameter equal or lager than the boss diameter. The locus of the working wheel produced by helical lines of variable lead is embraces by the pins of the register at least for one low of changing the lead of a helix. In assembling the fan the working wheel is led through the spaces between the pins of the register via the rotation of the wheel around the fan axis and simultaneous translational motion in the direction of the electric engine.
