FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment in the field of climatic research and can be used to test articles, materials or coatings in order to determine their corrosion resistance. Disclosed is a salt mist chamber, comprising a working volume, in which a fog generator with a piezoelectric element is placed, mounted on a parallelogram mechanism, with a reflector attached to it and connected to a pipeline for supplying a working solution, accelerated and main heating circuits, located under the heat-insulating element, covering the entire working volume, with the exception of the hemispherical heat-insulated cover of the chamber, a drain pipeline is connected to the bottom of the working volume, wherein the chamber is equipped with a device for pumping salt fog from the working volume, comprising at least three sequentially arranged, separated from each other compartments with liquid, through which there are at least three tubes lowered into the liquid, at the ends of which there are fine meshes, with the possibility of removing purified air from the chamber through a membrane vacuum pump.

EFFECT: reduced negative effect on laboratory equipment located in the laboratory room when the chamber cover is opened.
