FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: process is related to experimental theoretical determination of rigidity of supporting and unit attachments of building structures of the type of beam, girder, frame and the like from materials and systems with linear dependence between load and deformation, for example, for steel structures. In agreement with process tested structure is deformed by constant concentrated load applied 5-10 times in one and same point and average value of deformation ε. is measured and computed. Novelty of process lies in that values of deformation ε in the form of ordinates are laid off of axial line of structure in points of deformation measurements, straight lines are drawn through vertexes of these ordinates to their crossing with perpendiculars erected to axial line of structure at supporting ends or units. Values of obtained sections on perpendiculars are used to find moments in supporting and unit attachments by formula M=EWM = EWε, and rigidity of supporting and unit attachments is found theoretically as relation of moments M and angular displacement ϕ of supporting ends of structure: C=M/C = M/ϕ.. EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of bearing capacity of working structures thanks to taking into account rigidity of supporting and unit attachments of members of structure. 5 dwg
