MECHANISM FOR DISPLACEMENT OF OPTICAL COMPONENTS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2176408 C2

FIELD: optical instrumentation, specifically, mechanisms displacing optical components to change focal distance or focusing. SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism includes threaded mating parts having inner and outer threaded surfaces. One threaded part has through grooves to accommodate means pressing threaded surfaces one to another. Threaded part has three longitudinal through grooves as minimum coaxial to threaded surface and in lateral direction each groove is provided on one end with slit connecting groove to threaded surface. Flats removing part of threaded protrusions are made on threaded surface in opposition to another end. Means pressing threaded surfaces come in the form of springy members which appear as spring plates provided with lateral cuts with bending of one end. EFFECT: provision for constant taking up of clearances, exclusion of adjustment and simplified design of mechanism. 1 cl, 6 dwg
