FIELD: printing engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has plate, vertically mounted on the frontal side of the device. It has a set of light-permeable perforations, a set of light cutting members each of which opens or closes each small perforation, light source mounted on the back side of the set of light-cutting members for illuminating the whole plate. The set of light- cutting members is movable by a user by means of writing unit of directed action for carrying out writing operation in a way that the set of light-cutting members opens, and the light from illumination source propagates and reaches the frontal side of the device in drawing symbols and pictures on the plate. Beside that, the set of light-cutting members is movable by a user using erasing means of directed action for carrying out erasing operation in a way that the set of light-cutting light-permeable small perforations closes and light is cut-off from the light source erasing in this way symbols and pictures from the plate.
