FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: construction has flat shelves with holding member passage openings. Holding members are made in the form of chains whose upper ends are attached in pairs to wall and lower ends are united into knot. Sleeves in shelves openings are adapted for passage of chains therethrough. Shelves are fixed by means of supporting members formed as pins which are inserted through chain links to pinch sleeves. Such construction may be used in sectioned furniture for producing overhung constructions with any number of shelves, which may be arranged so as to adjust space between them to create unique interior in dwelling, offices and trade centers. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, improved qualities by using different number of shelves having different sizes and shape. 2 cl, 3 dwg
