FIELD: conversion of hydrocarbon raw material on base of non-zeolite molecular sieve. SUBSTANCE: method includes bringing macroparticles containing non-zeolite molecular sieve in contact with active source of hydrogenation component, drying and calcination. For contacting, use is made of active source of hydrogenation component solved in nonaqueous solvent; at drying stage, mainly entire nonaqueous solvent is removed at temperature and within period of time sufficient for forming catalytic macroparticles containing non-zeolite molecular sieve whose volume of micropores is at least about 70% of volume of micropores of macroparticles before contacting.
