FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: seed cleaning apparatus has drum with sieving surface mounted through flexible members, charging and discharge devices and drive. Sieving surface is formed as succession of spatial interconnected similar sections formed as equilateral prism or oblique-angled parallelepipeds. Each section is turned relative to previous section for angle of 90 deg about axis of sieving surface which is arranged so as to define Z-shaped or helical lines of variable pitch along drum length. Each subsequent section exceeds previous section in the ratio of 2-1.5:1. EFFECT: increased seed cleaning efficiency and simplified construction. 9 dwg
