FIELD: processes and apparatuses for controlling parameters of flattened discharging ducts. SUBSTANCE: discharging duct with width-to-height ratio more than 10 has at least one flexible wall and regulating devices arranged on rear side along width of flexible wall. Said devices provide possibility for controlling height of the whole discharging duct or its separate portions. Flexible wall is made of separate sheet along which fluid is directed and it has at least one supporting sheet. Said separate sheet forms common wall with discharging duct. Sheets are placed one on another with formation of sheet pack. Sheet of discharging duct is joined fluid-tightly and closely with one half of press mold along the whole circumference. In second variant of invention apparatus includes first and second regulating devices for separately acting upon walls of discharging duct. First regulating device provides possibility for uniform motion of walls along the whole width. Second regulating device provides possibility for additional local deforming of walls along limited portion of width. Method provides transportation of material mass by means of feeding unit under pressure through pressmold with flattened discharging duct. Mass is discharged out of pressmold through discharging duct having at least one regulated wall. During mass discharging, height of the whole discharging duct is controlled due to changing wall position by means of first regulating device. With the aid of second regulating device height is regulated also along width of discharging duct. It allows to change thickness of the web along its whole length or only in predetermined portions.
