FIELD: equipment for nuclear power plants. SUBSTANCE: flat recombiner of hydrogen and oxygen has catalytic members 1 through which gas-steam mixture is transported, which contains hydrogen to be removed, and housing 2 surrounding and supporting flat members 1. According to invention, housing 2 is provided with at least one always opened gas inlet orifice 3 and at least one for removal of gas 4, the two orifices being interconnected through a gas duct situated inside the housing 2. Catalytic flat members are also situated inside the housing 2 and join the gas duct downstream from orifice 3. Dimensions of housing 2 are preferably close to those of a room heat radiator, gas inlet orifice 3 being positioned in its lower section oriented preferably downwards ant that of gas outlet 4 in upper region of front wall 2a of housing 2. Arrangement enables creation of a double system including catalytic and spark lighters of hydrogen. EFFECT: facilitated hydrogen ignition. 28 cl, 12 dwg
