FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of braking liquids used in hydraulic drive brakes and clutches in automobile technique. Braking liquid has the following ratio of components, wt.%: mixture of glycol borates and their monoethyl esters, 43-48; polyoxy-propylene glycol of mean molecular mass 1000 Da, 10-14; morpholine, 0.5-0.9; benzotriazole, 0-0.1; diethylene glycol monoethyl ester, up to 100. Liquid has boric acid esters as a borate mixture and mixture of glycols and their monoethyl esters of the following composition, wt.%: diethylene glycol monoethyl ester 0-7; sum of triethylene glycol and tetra-ethylene glycol monoethyl esters, 80-100, among them, triethylene glycol monoethyl ester, 75-99; sum of diethylene glycol and triethylene glycol, 0-20. Invention provides safety of exploitation of brake systems under hard conditions and level of borates in liquid binding water penetrating in the process of exploitation.
