FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: fluid is prepared by oxyethylenation of methyl alcohol in amounts 0.1-0.3 wt.% at methyl alcohol-to-ethylene oxide molar ratio from 1:2.5 to 1:4.5 at temperature 100-175 C and pressure 3.0-7.5 kg/sq.cm in gas- mist mixture, which is created by the aid of 280 nozzles per one periodic reactor unit consisting of three apparatuses located on different levels. Resulting alkaline polymerizate is neutralized with 1.7-3.6 wt.% of boric acid to give moistened oligoborate. The latter is freed from moisture by distillation in presence 0.03-0.05 wt.% of 2,2-di(4-hydroxyphenylpropane) at 100-240 C and "nitrogen pillow" pressure 0.2 to 10.0 kg/sq.cm. Final product is obtained by dissolving benzotriazole in amount of 0.02-0.05 wt.% in dried oligoborate. EFFECT: reduced power consumption. 3 dwg, 2 tbl, 3 ex
