FIELD: equipment for spinning of natural and chemical fibres for determination of compression stress in a typical mechanism of spinning production-elastic clamp of the drawing rollers. SUBSTANCE: dactyloscopic film repeating the shape of the roll of the drawing rollers in the zone of contact is used as the measuring member. The dactyloscopic film is introduced in the elastic clamp with the sensitive layer turned towards the fibrous product, the contacts are fixed on it in the form of roll marks. The compression stress in the elastic clamp of the drawing rollers is determined according to the quantity of contacts per unit of area of the dactyloscopic film and according to the preliminarily determined dependence between the number of contacts per unit of area of the dactyloscopic film and the compression stress. Determination of the preliminary dependence is accomplished by placement of dactyloscopic film on the device bottom, then a fibrous product is laid on it, and the load placed above the fibrous product provides for a fixed compression stress, which then is varied. The quantity of contacts per unit of area of the dactyloscopic film is determined for each fixed compression stress.
