ROTARY MODULE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: manipulators for loading-unloading operations in forging production, possibly stacking (removing) parts in (from) working zone of forging press. SUBSTANCE: rotary module includes stop mounted on actuating member; rotary housing with grip secured to it; regulated roller type catches and fixing devices. Housing is joined by means of gearing with drive shaft having rotation drive and it has internal toothed rim and disc chuck. Changeable annular sector is secured to inner side of disk chuck; said sector supports units for regulating roller type catches engaged with lever rotatably mounted in housing and supporting one end of torsion bar. Other end of torsion bar is secured to actuating member. Fixing devices are in the form of electromagnetic latches designed for limiting rotation angle of lever and alternatively engaging with annular sector. Module allows to realize rotation of grip symmetrically and non-symmetrically relative to its axis with reduced starting loads. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
