FIELD: machine tool manufacture, namely determination of cohesion effort of built-up edge with tool surface at quickly removing cutter out of cutting zone in order to receive cuttings roots. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes body in which tool holder is mounted with possibility of rotation. Tool holder is held in working position by means of crossing pin. Small beam with strain gages is mounted under tool holder. In order to enhance accuracy and to enlarge manufacturing possibilities, tool holder engages with small beam by means of wedge-shaped pin with spheric head rested upon shock absorber mounted in body; crossing pin is mounted in additional changeable sleeve. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of working, enlarged manufacturing possibilities. 2 dwg
