FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is used at recovery of serviceability of automobile antitheft system including code medium, immobilizer and engine control unit. Proposed system has code medium storing serviceability recovery code of antitheft system. Electronic transponder switch can be used as such medium. In a simplest case, code of engine control unit can be used as antitheft system serviceability recovery code. Invention solves the problem of recovery of system serviceability in case of failure of immobilizer. EFFECT: simple method of serviceability recovery which can be used by vehicle owner. 3 cl, 1 dwg
