FIELD: automotive industry; security systems. SUBSTANCE: security system includes electronic master key designed for entering in programming mode and quitting the mode, electronic operating keys, each provided with storage device for key identification code. System has also immobilizer based on microcomputer. Codes of all keys used in programming process are changed. Changed codes are registered in immobilizer storage and codes stored in storage before are removed. Codes can be changed by replacing them with a random number which can be chosen for instance in immobilizer. EFFECT: enhanced secrecy of security system by providing possibility of rigorous control over number of operating keys and changing of code in case of necessity. 3 cl, 1 dwg
