FIELD: packing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to threaded covers for hermetically closing containers with threaded neck filled with material under gauge pressure. Proposed threaded cover has check ring connected for tear-off with cover along its free edge. Check ring has upper projecting edge on which points of ring-to- cover free edge connection are found. Ring has relatively thick lower main part limited by upper surface passing in radial direction and cylindrical inner surface. Cylindrical inner surface changes into upper surface of main part through inclined section with relatively thin cross- section. Several lugs radially pointed into ring are hinge-connected with main part of ring. Each lug has surface arranged radially in direction inwards from inclined section with relatively thin cross section. Sections of these surface can thrust either against surface passing radially or against inner cylindrical surface, thus limiting movement of lug directed inwards the ring at turning the cover off.
