FIELD: materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed conveyor can be used for transportation of loose ferromagnetic materials. Magnetic conveyor has housing, electric drive, conveyor belt installed on input and output shafts and fixed plate with magnetic field sources secured on plate in series and with clearance. Conveyor belt is provided with magnetic flux concentrators made from magnetically soft ferromagnetic material in form of tennons with heads getting in contact with fixed plate when conveyor belt is being moved, and getting by their pointed part into working zone of conveyor. Magnetic field sources are arranged in ports of fixed plate and feature low sliding friction coefficient when engaging with magnetic flux concentrators. Input shaft is made of magnetic material and is provided with channels to pass coolant. Output shaft is made of nonmagnetic material and is provided with inner channels to deliver heating agent.
