FIELD: biotechnology, ecology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method based on removal rubber, metal, glass, plastic from urban solid waste that can be used for reusing. Remained organic fraction is used for producing lactic acid and other chemical substances. By the first variant of method the stage of preliminary treatment of organic waste with diluted sulfuric acid is used to decrease heave metals content in cellulose component of urban solid waste that can pollute lactic acid formed or inhibit fermentation of sugars obtained from these waste. By the second variant of method heavy metals containing in urban solid waste cellulose component are removed by ion-exchange process after hydrolysis with sulfuric acid. Commercially acceptable form of lactic acid is prepared by removal of lactic acid bacteria from solution by filtration. Invention describes also method of economic and energetically effective production of lactic acid from urban solid waste by combustion of dry insoluble component as fuel. Invention describes also method of producing lactic acid that involves variation of parameters of hydrolysis waste with sulfuric acid. Described variants of method of lactic acid producing provide highly effective and economically profitable production of lactic acid from urban solid waste and/or sewage deposits that exhibits positive effect on state of ecological conditions.
