FIELD: waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: waste are sorted, cellulose component ground, thoroughly boiled, fermented (after correction of pH), and subjected to isolation of ethanol. According to an embodiment of invention, ground cellulose component is treated with sulfuric acid at 1:1 weight ratio. Resulting mixture is diluted with water at 80-100 C, thoroughly boiled at stirring, and filtered. Filtrate is separated into acid solution and sugar solution. The latter is concentrated to 12-14% concentration. Concentrate, after correction to pH 6, is fermented in presence of yeast. In another embodiment of invention, ground cellulose component is subjected to acid hydrolysis. Hydrolyzate is separated by continuous ion-exclusion chromatography into acid solution and sugar solution. The latter is concentrated to 12-14% on reverse-osmosis filter. PH of concentrate is corrected to 6 with ammonia and concentrate is then fermented by yeast at 25 to 36 C to form mash. Mash is distilled to yield ethanol. In the third embodiment, ground cellulose component is subjected to sulfuric acid hydrolysis at 40 to 100 C and soluble component is then separated from insoluble one. The latter is dried and treated with specified at 1:1 weight ratio to form partially hydrolyzed mixture. Hydrolyzate is diluted with water at 80-100 C, thoroughly boiled at stirring, and filtered. Filtrate is separated into acid solution and sugar solution. The latter is concentrated to 12-14% concentration and, after correction of pH to 6, fermented with yeast.
