FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: one of the countershafts of self-acting impulse drive is provided with multiple-start non-self-breaking thread. Two-sided eccentric is mounted to the shaft and its sides are perpendicular to each other. The eccentric is spring- loaded from two sides. Each side of the eccentric has eccentric bushings. The projection of one of the bushings is received in the radial slot of pinion of the gear pair. EFFECT: simplified structure of the variable-speed drive unit due to self- adjusting of speed of the driven shaft in dependence of moment of resistance on the shaft. 2 dwg
