FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: variable-speed drive relates to automatic pulse stepless transmissions. It has a body, bevel toothed pair, intermediate shaft and driven shaft with overrunning clutches. Intermediate shaft carries stationary sliders on which spring-loaded discs are mounted loosely with their recesses. Discs are coupled to spring-loaded rockers by connecting rods. Rockers contact side planes of driving eccentrics of overrunning clutches. Invention provides for accurate automatic self-control of gear ratio depending on resistance moment on driven shaft.
