FIELD: illumination equipment used in agriculture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has optical radiation sources covered with electret film transmitting light and ultraviolet radiation. Electret film is applied onto outer surface of cylindrical bulbs of optical radiation sources along their geometric axis, including metal bases. Light equipment is earthed and is provided with dielectric light-reflective coat. Apparatus may be used for illuminating agricultural houses, for ultraviolet irradiation of birds and animals to eliminate solar deficiency, as well for disinfecting liquid and gaseous media in animal and bird houses. Apparatus is protected from undesired mechanical effects due to settling of aerosol particles or dust onto optical surfaces, or from contamination with mercury, glass particles, hazardous luminophore components produced upon mechanical destruction of fluorescent lamps in the process of operation in stationary and mobile irradiation units, during transportation and storage of these lamps in stores.
