FIELD: guarding properties by sending burglar and fire alarm for distributed objects through busy telephone communication lines. SUBSTANCE: system designed for data exchange among objects being guarded and centralized watching stations has telephone exchange equipment incorporating restart unit and communication unit whose first input/output group is connected to respective inputs/outputs of control-file units provided in centralized watching stations; second input/output group of second communication unit is connected to second input/output group of microcomputer whose third input/output group is connected to input/output group of restart unit; inputs of the latter are connected to second and third outputs of adjustable power unit; output of restart unit is connected to second input of microcomputer. Proposed design provides for recovery of concentrators upon hardware and software failures and also for entering data on present condition of main and stand-by power supplies in system units to file units of centralized watching stations in due time. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and reduced response time. 2 dwg
