SUBSTANCE: fire alarm system comprises a group of centralized monitoring stations, the first subscriber group, local communication network, the first concentrator group, multiplexer group, centralized monitoring stations, the second subscriber group, server unit and the second concentrator group. The second concentrator group may meet the GSM standard or may use wire-lines. System uses the second, standby, short message channel brought into use when communication is broken-down in the main channel and the third communication wire-line channel to improve communication with objects of high categoricity.
