FIELD: telecommunications. SUBSTANCE: cable splicing lock has first and second parts of body whose opposite ends can be brought together for closing the lock. A number of outer ridges are provided along first part of body close to edge of second part of body in movable wall which closes outer section of first part of body when lock is closed so that each ridge elastically engages respective hole; second part of body incorporates a number of slits in its movable wall to receive lever that brings body parts together so as to set in engagement respective ridges and holes and/or to force them apart for disengaging respective ridges and holes. EFFECT: facilitated handling due to easy opening and closing of lock. 12 cl, 4 dwg
