Device for splitting optical fibers has unit for holding fiber tubes and detachable device for mounting to unit which holds optical fibers. unit for holding fiber tubes has first guide for passing greater fiber tube and at least one secondary pass for holding plurality of lesser fiber tubes in order to guide fiber which runs from greater tube to lesser tube without significant loss of light flow.
