FIELD: splitting or connection of optical fibers. SUBSTANCE: device has plurality of input holes, output hole and cylinder for assembling, which position with respect to holes provides condition that fibers which run from input holes to output holes are restricted by external surface of cylinder down to minimal curvature radius, which is equal to minimal critical bending curve of fibers. Each input holes has unit for bend checking which is located adjacent to it in order to guide fiber which runs through this hole, towards cylinder surface with minimal bending curvature radius, which is equal to minimal critical bending curve of fibers. Device base also has plurality of trays for holding bundles of optical fibers. EFFECT: facilitated access to fibers, prevention of possibility to break fibers during storage. 12 cl, 20 dwg
