BELT-CORSET Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: corset has belt with plate attached to inner belt side and equipped with pricking members made in the form of filament yarns. Plate is manufactured of nonwoven material, in particular, felt. Layer of nonwoven fibrous material (preferably dog's wool) is connected to felt plate by needle stitching method first at one side, then at the other side of plate. Pricking filament yarns are formed on contact surface. Corset of such construction provides pricking action upon skin and simultaneously provides heating effect facilitating heavy blood flow to sore region. Belt-corset may be used for prolonged time without causing appreciable discomfort to patient. EFFECT: simplified construction, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 2 dwg
